Animation & Visual Effects

With our motto of "making the impossible possible",you get the idea that VFX is more than our bread and butter, It’s our passion! Not only can we produce the work for you to the quality you deserve (please visit the VFX section for examples), we can also teach you how to do it yourself with our bespoke 3ds max training. Either from our studio facilities or from the comfort of your own workplace, we can tailor a solution for you that will be the most beneficial. When rendering is tough, we can call on our extensive render farm (expanding all the time), featuring the most common plugins for 3ds max and our own custom visual effects software. If you need it to render and we ain't got it, we'll get it. We also have access to a green & blue screen studio for effects filming.

Prices for visual effects are project specific and can be tailored for a per-shot basis, timescale, artist and/or per project. Our rates for visual effects are exceptionally competitve without compromising on quality so please get in touch to discuss your project's needs.

Data & Footage Wrangling

We believe that every client's project from a commercial to film is equally important and that you should have access to the very best in file storage for your entire project needs. For example if we’re editing a HD feature film, we can transfer it to our file storage system and back it up to DLT for a nominal charge. Also built into our systems are firewire capabilities, which gives easy access, should you wish to bring in external hardware for either downloading or uploading your project.

Formats - We can handle most formats including DigiBeta, BetaSP, Dv-cam, Mini-DV, DAT, DLT, DVD and VHS ; incorporating a purpose built gigabyte network for fast, easy access between edit suites and render farm.

We have 2 Avid Express, Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas editing suites available for dry and wet hire.

Edit 1 & 2 - Avid Express DV / Premier Pro 1.5 & 2 / Sony Vegas 6. Both systems have 21" Dual display monitors, 2GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Ideal for off-line Digital Short Film, Music Promos, Corporates and Documentary work were cost is a major factor.

Both suites can be connected to DigiBeta, DVCam / MiniDV, BetaSP and Multi-Region VHS and DVD recorder. We can arrange online facilities utilising Uncompressed Avid Symphony as part of a package.

We can produce full colour laser printing labels and sleeves for tapes and disks with our experienced graphic designers.
