Lightworx was founded in 1999 and has been growing ever since. We have worked for the BBC, ITV, numerous cable companies, advertising and promo agencies, brand-name clients and have decades of combined industry experience.

Andrew "Tornado" Dymond - Managing Director - The larger than life founder of Lightworx, Andrew has worked within the TV industry for various broadcast companies for more than a decade. In addition to this, he wrote and directed the world's first interactive martial arts fantasy film. Andrew also created the new sci-fi comedy show StarHyke, wrote 3 out of the 6 episodes, co-wrote the rest and directed all 6 episodes. Andrew tends to get to sleep at around 5am.

Claudia "Ya Dummy!" Christian - Creative Director - Best known as Susan Ivanova in Babylon 5, Claudia has starred in over 40 feature films and hundreds of TV shows. Being interested in every aspect of the entertainment world, she brings an American knowledge of the industry to Lightworx. Claudia has also written and optioned screenplays, wrote and sang on 5 cd's of jazz, blues, rock and pop. She has directed theatre and television and has starred in and produced cooking shows. Jonathan "Like I Said" Brown - Head of Programming - After a successful career as a Michelin chef & Restaurateur, Jonathan needed a new challenge. Beginning his career in the industry as a make-up artist, he quickly moved into the production office and has since worked on projects for Yorkshire Television, BBC and independent drama. Founder & managing director of the York based production company Silver Cloud Television Ltd, which produced the series Cook in the Castle and dramas including Lucky Bugger, Does God Play Football and The Wreck of the Mary Celeste, Jonathan joined Lightworx as Head of Programming in February 2004. Since then he has helped the company grow and Andrew Dymond, the company Director, turn prematurely grey.

Pete "I Blow Stuff Up" Draper - Visual Effects Director - Pete heads up the animation and visual effects side of the company and brings over a decade's visual effects experience to Lightworx with previous roles of Head of Media and Senior Artist. A well known animator and speaker in his field, Pete also writes for several publications such as 3D World magazine and Computer Arts, has written a popular book on visual effects and is an external examiner for Teeside University's CG animation course modules. He can also be found hosting CG workshops and provides the knowhow for Lightworx's bespoke CG training services. His caffeine intake is also pushing dangerous levels...

Chris "Our Man with a Tan" Harnwell - Animator & Overseas Manager - Chris heads our Brazil office, yet has worked alongside Andrew since the company was formed in 1999, working on various commercials and TV series. In 2002 Chris moved to Brazil and opened our first overseas office. Everyone else hates him as the weather is much nicer than Bristol.

Sue "More Tea?" Witheridge - Project Manager - Sue has worked for Lightworx for several years now helping on various projects. Sue completed her training at Bath College where she won the Charles and Lydia Thompson award for performing arts. She has appeared as the lead as "Catherine" in Nightmare in Bath and has also done several voice-overs for commercials which have been shown on the sci-fi, mtv, vh-1 channels, her voice can be heard as the ship's computer "Daphne" in the new series Starhyke. Sue attends chocoholics anonymous, and is not finding their way of thinking to her liking....

Mike “Where’s that boy gone now?” Hart - Office Runner - Mike’s only just joined us after graduating in Media, not that we see much of him. Constantly on errands for Jonathan and Andrew he’s a little like the Scarlet Pimpernel. If you call the office, it’ll probably be Mike you speak to, so please be nice.
