ANDREW DYMOND has over 20 years experience as a director in projects ranging from commercials and music promos to television series and feature films. As a visual effects director, Andrew has worked on projects such as Final Frontier, Submarine Rescue and Kiss of Death for the BBC, Reptiles for ITV and Monkey Life for FIVE. Andrew has also directed documentaries for television including Scumrun featuring presenters Emily Booth and Vikki Thomas for ITV Men & Motors. His most recent directing credits include Secret Speed Club, SideEffx and the first season of Starhyke. Andrew uses his vast experience as a VFX Director to seamlessly incorporate CGI into the live action projects he directs.
JONATHAN G. BROWN started his working life as a chef, quickly progressing to Michelin level as a Patissier. In 1996, he swapped kitchen knives for make-up brushes and re-trained as a prosthetic make-up artist. It wasn't until 2001 that Jonathan made the permanent transition into the film industry. He produced eleven short films, including the award winning films Lucky Bugger, Does God Play Football and The wreck of the Mary Celeste before working as a Coordinator and Production Manager on dramas for ITV and the BBC. In 2004 he produced Starhyke and joined Lightworx as a Company Director. Since then he's produced over 300 commercials, as well as a slate of television documentaries.
CHRIS HARNWELL is our Animation Team Manager. - He has run our Brazil office since 2002, having worked alongside Andrew Dymond since the company was formed in 1999. Chris oversees the team of freelance animators, modellers, riggers and lighters used on our CGI projects.
BRENDAN CARR has been working in the film industry as a professionally trained Actor since the age of 11, as well as Appearing as Moz in The Purifers, Jason in Rise of the footsoldier, Tetherin in Warrioress along with many other features he has also held down lead roles in 2 feature films Ten Dead Men and and the award winning Love Struck which were both released worldwide on DVD. Coming from a performing arts background he has had the pleasure in working alongside some very well known, Actors, Artists, Directors and Music Producers.
MIKE HART started as a Runner after graduating in Media studies in 2006. He now manages the office for us. If you call Lightworx, it ll probably be Mike you speak to.
